BASIC EMERGENCY SUPPLY LIST

q Non-perishable food stored in waterproof container

Peanut butter, granola bars, canned tuna, canned nuts, canned juices, ready to eat canned meats, fruits, and vegetables

q Manual can opener and supplies for eating such as paper plates, plastic cups, plastic utensils, napkins

q Bottled water

q First Aid Kit

q Blanket or sleeping bag

q Plastic bags with seals

q Flashlight and batteries; candles, and matches in waterproof container

q Radio and batteries

q Medication and prescriptions

q Tissues, toilet paper, moistened towelettes, feminine supplies, personal hygiene items

q Extra change of clothes, jeans, sweater, socks, sturdy shoes or sneakers

q Important phone numbers – doctor, pharmacy, clubhouse, drop – in, crisis intervention, local Red Cross,

q Important cards and papers – license, certificates, etc. kept in waterproof container
